About The Artist:
Los Angeles-based painter and published artist, Violeta Moreno, is noted for her bold use of color and post-impressionistic landscapes. Painting since 1991, Moreno’s inspiration comes from architecture and nature. Being a self-taught artist, she developed painting techniques that came to her intuitively. While on the east coast, Moreno served as artist and curator, and had her first major art show at the Art Institute of Charlotte. The artist has donated her artwork to California Rural Legal Assistance and Plaza de La Raza. Her painting was recently featured on the program fundraiser for The San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association. violetamoreno.com
